Purpose of Mining JN-2 Capsule Hole Sealer

Mining JN-2 Capsule Borehole Sealer is used to quickly seal boreholes for measuring the initial gas emission rate and predicting the risk of coal and gas outbursts in working faces. This sealer can also be used to seal boreholes and measure the natural gas emission volume.

I. Purpose
Used to quickly seal boreholes for measuring the initial gas emission rate and predicting the risk of coal and gas outbursts in working faces.

II. Structure of the Sealer
The structure of the sealer is as shown in the diagram. The sealer consists of capsule 1, gas discharge pipe 2, inflation tube 3, and air pump 4. Each section of the gas discharge pipe is 1m long, with a total of 10 sections, allowing the sealing depth to be freely adjusted within a range of 10m.
III. Measurement Method and Steps
When the borehole reaches the required length for measuring the initial gas emission rate, immediately withdraw the drill rod and insert the sealer to a certain depth, ensuring the gas emission measurement chamber length is 0.5m (when using the short-hole initial gas emission method to predict outburst risk) or 1m (when using the drill cuttings volume and maximum initial gas emission rate to predict outburst risk).
Open valve 5 and use air pump 4 to inflate capsule 1 until the sealer cannot be moved by hand. Then close valve 5. Connect a flow meter to measure the initial gas emission rate of the borehole.
After measurement, open valve 5 to release the air and withdraw the sealer.
