Performance Characteristics of the Initial Borehole Gas Emission Velocity Tester
1. Features a compact structure, lightweight and safe, simple operation, convenient use, stable performance, rapid and accurate testing, and intuitive and reliable readings. It is suitable for on-site operation in coal mines and has promotion and application value in outburst mines.
2. Mainly used for directly measuring the initial gas emission velocity from boreholes in coal seams at coal mining faces to predict the risk of gas outburst. It provides a portable and rapid testing instrument for predicting outburst risks in coal seam mining faces. It can be used by coal mine disaster prevention departments, coal research institutions, etc., and can also be used for measuring parameters such as gas emission volume in coal seam drainage boreholes. It can be used in hazardous locations with methane gas.
3. Composed of a coal dust filter, housing, panel, and shoulder strap. The panel is equipped with a flow display, inlet nozzle, and shift flow meter, connected via hoses and quick-seal couplings. Gas enters through the inlet nozzle via the hose into the flow display and shift flow meter. Due to the throttling effect of the shift flow meter, the gas pressure in the sealed chamber increases, causing the flow display pointer to swing, thereby measuring the initial gas emission velocity from the coal seam borehole.
4. It is a throttling differential pressure flow meter that operates on the principle of flow meters. After a borehole is formed in the coal seam, the permeability of the coal seam improves due to the formation of fractured and plastic zones around the borehole, allowing gas to flow into the borehole.
