In addition to its excellent antifungal, preservative, and freshness-preserving effects, Sodium Diacetate (SDA) can enhance appetite, promote feed conversion and absorption, and improve the utilization of protein in feed. It is widely used as an antifungal agent, preservative, flavoring agent, disinfectant, and pH regulator. Some examples include:

1. Adding 0.1-0.2% (1-2 kg/ton) of SDA to feed can effectively prevent mold growth, extending the storage period of feed by 1-2 months. Adding 0.1-0.3% of SDA to compound feed and silage can preserve the feed for 3-5 months.

2. As a nutritional flavoring agent:
