Product Description: Widely used for heat tracing, insulation, anti-condensation, and freeze protection in pipelines and storage tanks of industrial enterprises such as petroleum, chemicals, steel, and electric power. These cables are suitable for general areas, explosion-hazardous areas, and corrosive areas.
Heavy oil, paraffin, and high pour point in crude oil are all due to "poor physical properties." During extraction and production, when crude oil moves from the oil layer through the tubing and pipelines to the gathering and transportation pump station, heat loss causes the crude oil temperature to drop below the critical flow temperature. This leads to paraffin deposition, a sudden increase in viscosity, and a drop in flow pressure, making extraction difficult. "Thermal recovery" uses a heat source along the extraction and transportation process to exchange heat with the crude oil (heavy, paraffinic, pour point) via a carrier, compensating for heat loss, overcoming the above issues, and achieving smooth extraction.
I. Working Principle:
The self-regulating heating cable heating device adjusts its output power inversely along the pipeline direction according to the temperature gradient with well depth after being energized. It supplies heat to the inside of the tubing through the outer wall, maintaining a constant temperature along the line to reduce viscosity, resolve blockages, and increase pump efficiency. The core of the heating cable consists of three sets of PTC heating cores made of conductive polymer PTC functional material, processed via extrusion and radiation. Each point can inversely adjust its output power according to the temperature changes of the heated system, achieving automatic compensation, adjustment, and control.
II. Main Advantages:
Economy: Simple installation and a heating system designed for specific oil wells to achieve better efficiency. The system immediately affects crude oil production in the following ways:
