Main Technical Features of SDS-BP800 Frequency Conversion Cabinet:
I. Application Conditions
Operating voltage: AC380V three-phase; Installation location: indoor or outdoor; Altitude below 1000 meters; No corrosive gases; Operating environment: -30℃ to +40℃, 20%-90% RH (no condensation); Storage conditions: -40℃ to +65℃; Installation method: floor-mounted; Protection rating: IP42; Cooling method: enclosed self-cooling for below 15KW, forced air cooling for above.
II. System Composition
The frequency conversion control cabinet consists of a frequency converter, low-voltage electrical devices, measuring instruments, (input/output reactors and braking resistors, installed based on site conditions), temperature control and heat dissipation, main/control circuits, cabinet body, and other components to form the variable frequency speed control equipment.
III. System Functions
1. Control Functions:
(1) Linear V/F control; Square V/F control; Programmable multi-point V/F control; Flux current control without speed sensor vector control; Closed-loop vector control; Closed-loop torque control; Energy-saving control mode.
(2) Standard parameter structure and debugging software: 10 digital inputs; 2 analog inputs; 2 analog outputs; 3 relay outputs; 2 fault outputs.
(3) Independent I/O terminal board for easy maintenance, using BICO technology to achieve free connection of I/O ports.
(4) Built-in PID controller with parameter self-tuning. Integrated RS485 communication interface, optional PROFIBUS-DP/Device.Net communication module.
(5) 15 fixed frequencies, 4 jump frequencies, programmable.
(6) Capable of master/slave control and torque control modes, with "automatic restart function" in case of power loss or fault; flexible ramp function generator with smooth characteristics for start and end segments.
(7) Fast current limit (FCL) to prevent unnecessary tripping during operation.
(8) DC braking and composite braking modes to improve braking performance. (9) Two modes for the frequency converter: remote PID automatic adjustment and local manual adjustment.
2. Protection Functions:
(1) Overload capacity: 180% rated load current for 2 seconds, 150% rated current for 60 seconds.
(2) Overvoltage and undervoltage protection; Overheating protection for the frequency converter and motor. (3) Ground fault protection, short circuit protection. (4) Motor lock protection, stall prevention protection.
IV. Performance Characteristics
1. Energy Saving: Compared with traditionally controlled motors, frequency converter-controlled motors offer significant energy savings. By adjusting the motor's operating conditions based on material conveyance, pipeline water injection, or oil transportation demands, energy savings of 25% to 45% can be achieved.
2. Improved System Control Precision: The frequency conversion control system provides precise control over the motor, ensuring system output matches the given parameters. The output of the frequency-controlled motor changes with its speed. The improved speed accuracy helps maintain pipeline pressure within specified ranges, effectively enhancing operational quality.
3. Extended Motor Lifespan: The frequency converter starts the motor from 0Hz, with adjustable acceleration time, reducing impact on electrical and mechanical components during startup. This enhances system reliability and extends the motor's lifespan. Additionally, frequency control reduces starting current, minimizing grid fluctuations and improving power supply quality.
4. Reduced Motor Noise: Based on operational requirements, installing a frequency converter reduces the motor's operating speed, effectively lowering noise during operation.
