Handling product test reports that comply with GBT21563 and IEC61373 impact and vibration test requirements
Recently, we received a customer inquiry. The client requires them to provide product test reports with the following specific requirements:
1. The purchased equipment must undergo vibration and impact tests;
2. The tests must be conducted according to the GB/T21563 (IEC61373) standard requirements;
3. A third-party test report from a nationally authoritative testing institution and a CNAS-accredited testing report must be issued.
The customer inquired about the test price and the report issuance period.
Our laboratory is capable of conducting impact and vibration tests for rail transit equipment. Regarding this issue, we provide the following response.
1. What types of equipment require vibration and impact tests according to the GB/T21563 (IEC61373) standard?
This applies to equipment used in rail transit vehicles, such as high-speed trains, electric multiple units, and subway systems. It includes equipment inside the carriages, equipment installed on the vehicle body, and equipment mounted on the bogies and axles.
2. How are the vibration and impact tests conducted according to the GB/T21563 (IEC61373) standard?
The standard specifies the requirements for random vibration and impact tests on mechanical, pneumatic, electrical, and electronic equipment or components installed on railway vehicles.
1. For equipment installed on the vehicle body, use Category 1A or Category 1B requirements for impact and vibration tests;
2. For equipment installed on the bogie, use Category 2 requirements for impact and vibration tests;
3. For equipment installed on the axle, use Category 3 requirements for impact and vibration tests;
3. How long does the test take?
The vibration and impact tests in the GB/T21563 (IEC61373) standard are divided into long-duration tests and functional random vibration tests. The tests are conducted in three axes (XYZ), with each axis vibrating for 5 hours and 10 minutes, resulting in a total test time of approximately 16 hours. The impact test involves three impacts in each of the three axes (XYZ).
4. Report issuance period: 3 working days.
Beijing Reliability Testing and Electromagnetic Compatibility Testing Center specializes in providing type testing, electromagnetic compatibility testing, and vibration and impact testing services for rail transit equipment, railway vehicle electronic devices, trackside equipment, signaling and communication equipment, power supply devices, power sources, monitoring equipment, and control equipment.
