1. Product Introduction

The handheld ultrasonic depth sounder is a portable instrument for measuring water depth in reservoirs, lakes, rivers, shallow seas, and other water bodies. During measurement, the ultrasonic transducer is placed on the water surface or at a specific position. Using the fixed speed of sound in water (VC) and the time (T) from ultrasonic emission to reception, the device automatically calculates the water depth (H). Optional signal output addresses the limitation of traditional handheld products lacking output capability. It features accurate measurement, low power consumption, high reliability, ease of use, simple operation, precise measurement speed, and portability. The instrument can measure depth in still water as well as in water with certain flow velocities. It is an ideal depth measurement tool for hydrological surveys, hydropower plants, reservoir areas, lake and river exploration, and environmental water monitoring.
