1. Product Overview
The Doppler flow velocity and discharge meter is an ultrasonic flow measurement instrument based on the principle of the ultrasonic "Doppler effect." It has no rotating parts such as propellers or bearings, uses ultrasonic technology to detect flow velocity, is frictionless and inertia-free, with the measurement point located in front of the device without disrupting flow. It features high measurement accuracy, wide range, sensitive response, linear flow measurement, resistance to sediment and floating debris, intuitive readings, compact and lightweight design, simple operation, and durability.
2. Main Structure
The ultrasonic Doppler flow velocity and discharge meter consists of an underwater probe, cable, and handheld host. The probe contains a flow velocity sensor and electronic measurement circuitry. The flow velocity signal is processed and amplified by the underwater circuit and then transmitted via the cable to the surface host for processing, calculation, display, and storage.
