V-ADCP Acoustic Doppler Current Profiler

1. Product Introduction

The V-ADCP is a new generation high-precision acoustic Doppler channel flowmeter produced by TRDI. It consists of an electronic unit and a transducer, equipped with three velocity profile testing beams. Each beam can be configured with up to 50 cells, allowing for a total of 150 measured point velocities. It also includes a built-in high-precision ultrasonic water level sensor, enabling simultaneous measurement of flow velocity, water level, and discharge. The instrument is designed for bottom-mounted vertical installation and can be used for flow measurement in extremely shallow water conditions, such as artificial channels, full and partially full pipes, or box culverts. The accompanying Chinese version "FlowMaster-V" flow measurement software features a user-friendly interface and is easy to operate. It can calculate discharge using the "index velocity method" or "numerical model method," and the results can be output to a serial port or software. It can be integrated with telemetry equipment to form an online flow telemetry system.
