Overview of ferrule fittings:
The ferrule-type pipe fitting consists of three parts: the fitting body, the ferrule, and the nut. When the ferrule and nut are slipped onto the steel pipe and inserted into the fitting body, tightening the nut causes the outer side of the ferrule's front end to align with the conical surface of the fitting body, while the inner edge uniformly bites into the seamless steel pipe, forming an effective seal.
