Applications

AFS-8100 is an amino-terminated disiloxane with strong reactivity, widely used in the synthesis of various siloxane polymers with amino-reactive functional groups. It is employed for silicone copolymer modification of organic polymers such as polyurethane, epoxy resin, polyamide, and polyimide. AFS-8100 can also be used to prepare silicone oils for textile soft finishing agents and hair conditioning agents.

Packaging and Storage

◆   Packed in internally coated iron drums, net weight 20 kg per drum.

◆   Deteriorates upon contact with acids or alkalis, easily absorbs carbon dioxide from the air, or oxidizes and turns yellow upon exposure to air. Must be stored sealed at room temperature.

◆   Exhibits weak amino alkalinity, has mild corrosiveness, and may cause slight irritation to skin and eyes. Effective protective measures should be taken during use.

◆   Shelf life is 12 months from the date of production when stored sealed at room temperature.
