Application Characteristics:
1. Cost-effective and cost-saving:
(1) Low usage, only 10% of soda ash. Roughly estimated, for every 10 tons of cotton knitted fabric dyed, it saves 2500-3000 yuan compared to soda ash, offering significant benefits.
(2) Easy to wash with less water. Due to the low usage and good diffusibility of substitute alkali, it does not easily remain on the fabric surface or deposit in dead corners of dyeing equipment, making it easy to clean. It saves 1-2 post-dyeing washes compared to conventional soda ash processes, conserving water resources.
(3) Shortens dyeing time. Substitute alkali does not need to be added in batches when dyeing medium to dark shades, thereby shortening the dyeing process time, saving labor, electricity, and steam, and reducing production costs.
2. Strong leveling ability, improving dyeing quality:
(1) Due to the synergistic effect of multiple alkaline compounds, it has a stronger ability to control the pH of the working solution compared to single soda ash, meaning it has a strong buffering capacity. This ensures uniform and sustained dye uptake, controls the dyeing rate, reduces the risk of uneven dyeing, and allows the dye to penetrate thoroughly to achieve the desired depth.
(2) Because of the low usage of substitute alkali, the concentration of sodium ions in the working solution is reduced. This, on one hand, controls the initial dye uptake rate, and on the other hand, reduces the production of hydrolyzed dyes and dye aggregates. This minimizes the possibility of color unevenness, speckling, and floating colors, greatly benefiting the improvement of various color fastness properties, ensuring the execution of the dyeing process, and guaranteeing the quality of dyed products.
