Properties
Appearance: Beige-brown powder
Solubility: Easily soluble in water of any hardness
pH Value: pH 7~9 for 1% aqueous solution
Ionization: Anionic type
Stability: Resistant to acid, alkali, heat, hard water, and inorganic salts.
Compatibility: Can be used simultaneously with anionic and nonionic surfactants.
Factory Specifications: Complies with GB9295--88
Performance: Has excellent diffusibility and protective colloid properties, but lacks surface activity such as penetration and foaming. Affinity for proteins and polyamide fibers, but no affinity for cotton, hemp, and other fibers.
Applications: In the printing and dyeing industry, it is mainly used for vat dye suspension pad dyeing, leuco acid method dyeing, and dyeing of disperse and soluble vat dyes. It can also be used for silk/wool blended fabric dyeing to prevent dyeing on silk. In the dye industry, it is mainly used as a dispersing agent in the production of disperse dyes and color lakes, as a rubber emulsion stabilizer, and as a leather tanning auxiliary.
Usage Conditions
① Used as a dispersant, dispersing and filling agent for vat dyes. When processing the fineness of disperse or vat dye particles, dispersant N can be added together with the dye into the grinder and sand mill. The amount of dispersant N is 0.5~3 times that of vat dyes or 1.5~2 times that of disperse dyes. Part of it can also be retained and added as a filling agent during dye commercialization.
② Vat Dye Dyeing
Suspension Pad Dyeing Method
In the pad dyeing bath, generally add 3~5 g/L of dispersant N; in the reduction bath, generally add 15~20 g/L of dispersant N.
Leuco Acid Method
Generally, the amount of dispersant N is 2~3 g/L.
③ Disperse Dye Dyeing
For polyester high-temperature high-pressure dyeing, generally add 0.5~1.5 g/L of dispersant N to the dye bath.
④ Ice Dye Dyeing
Used to improve level dyeing and friction fastness. The amount of dispersant in the naphthol padding bath is generally 2~5 g/L, and the amount of dispersant N in the developing bath is generally 0.5~2 g/L.
Packaging: 50 kg woven bag with inner plastic bag.
Handling and Storage: Handle with care, load and unload gently. Store in a cool, dry, and ventilated warehouse. Shelf life is two years.
