Properties
Appearance: Beige white powder
Solubility: Easily soluble in water
pH Value: 1% aqueous solution pH=7～3.5
Ionicity: Anionic surfactant
Performance: Significantly reduces the surface tension of water, possesses excellent penetration and wetting properties, good rewettability, and also exhibits emulsifying, dispersing, and foaming capabilities.
Stability: Resistant to acids and alkalis, but not suitable for mercerizing alkali baths; resistant to hard water. Adding a small amount of sodium chloride can greatly enhance penetration. Forms precipitates with salts of aluminum, iron, zinc, lead, etc.
Compatibility: Generally compatible with most substances except cationic dyes and cationic surfactants. Non-ionic leveling agents in dye baths may form loose complexes with Nekal BX, neutralizing leveling performance, hence generally not used simultaneously in the same bath.

Applications Widely used in various processes of textile printing and dyeing, primarily as a penetrant and wetting agent; also as an emulsifier and softener in the rubber industry, a wetting agent in the paper industry, a wetting agent in the lake pigment industry, and a synergist in the fertilizer and pesticide industries.

Storage and Transportation Should be stored in a cool, dry, and well-ventilated warehouse, sealed, with a storage period of one year.
