Properties: Tributyl citrate (TBC) is a non-toxic, fruity-scented, colorless transparent oily liquid. Boiling point 170°C (133.3Pa), flash point (open cup) 185°C. Soluble in most organic solvents.

Applications: Tributyl citrate (TBC) is an excellent environmentally friendly plasticizer and lubricant. It has low volatility, good compatibility with resins, and high plasticizing efficiency. It is approved for use in food packaging, medical and health products, as well as in industries such as children's soft toys, pharmaceuticals, medical products, fragrances, and cosmetics manufacturing in Europe, America, and other countries. It imparts good cold resistance, water resistance, and mildew resistance to products. Resins plasticized with TBC exhibit excellent transparency and low-temperature flexibility, with low volatility and extractability in different media, good thermal stability, and no discoloration upon heating. Lubricants prepared with TBC have excellent lubricating properties.
