Properties:Colorless transparent oily liquid, insoluble in water, soluble in chloroform, gasoline, methanol, toluene, mineral oil, vegetable oil, slightly soluble in glycols. It has excellent low-temperature performance, high plasticizing efficiency, and good compatibility with polyvinyl chloride.
Applications:
This product is a typical cold-resistant plasticizer for polyvinyl chloride, polyethylene copolymers, polystyrene, nitrocellulose, and synthetic rubber. Its main components are a mixture of dioctyl adipate, dioctyl succinate, and dioctyl glutarate. It is low-cost and serves as a substitute for dioctyl sebacate (DOS) and dioctyl adipate (DOA). It is primarily used in molded mechanical parts, gaskets, hoses, cold-resistant agricultural films, frozen food packaging films, and all flexible and semi-flexible polyvinyl chloride products used in cold regions.
