Flash point (open cup) 51.67°C. Freezing point -77°C. Viscosity (20°C) 17.9 mPa·s. Insoluble in water, soluble in ethanol, slightly soluble in benzene. Hydrolyzes to form a silica-based adhesive substance. Uses: Primarily used in optical glass, chemical-resistant coatings, heat-resistant coatings, and adhesives.
