The moist heat thermocouple probe uses a thermocouple as the temperature-sensing material and requires the sensor to be placed in high-temperature, high-pressure steam or water. Material Analysis

Teflon is a registered trademark used by DuPont for its series of fluoropolymer products. The Teflon coating can withstand temperatures up to 320 degrees Celsius for short periods and is generally suitable for continuous use between -200 degrees Celsius and 260 degrees Celsius, exhibiting significant thermal stability. It can operate at freezing temperatures without becoming brittle and does not melt at high temperatures. Due to Teflon's strong inertness, it resists various acids, alkalis, salts, and organic substances (solvents), with almost no chemical erosion, protecting components from any kind of chemical corrosion. Since the solid components of the Teflon coating are non-toxic, they comply with U.S. FDA Title 21 sections 177.1550 and 177.300, allowing contact with food and pharmaceuticals.
