Principle: PHA is a mitogen that stimulates T lymphocytes to transform into larger blast cells during in vitro culture, with nucleoli forming in the nucleus and some cells undergoing division.

Properties (The following information is for reference only): Light yellow or grayish-brown lyophilized powder. Soluble in water and physiological saline, insoluble in organic solvents. A plant polypeptide, i.e., a complex of oligosaccharides and proteins, mainly composed of phytohemagglutinin PHA and the lectin mitogen ConA.
