HHL Self-Retracting Rope Gate Opening Sensor

I. Overview

The HHL Constant Force Cable Gate Opening Sensor features an internal steel cable that extends and directly connects to the gate being measured. When the gate is raised or lowered, the cable drives a measuring wheel coaxial with an encoder, causing the encoder to rotate synchronously with the gate movement. This converts the gate’s vertical displacement into rotational motion of the encoder shaft, outputting corresponding position data. Its internal mechanical structure mainly consists of a constant force spring, spring wheel, measuring wheel, and wheel shaft. During descent, the gate pulls and rewinds the spring, driving the mechanical components to rotate. During ascent, the force generated by the rewound spring drives the mechanism to rotate and retract the cable. The sensor boasts a rational design, easy installation, strong anti-interference capability, high resolution, large measuring range, long service life, and integrates detection with A/D conversion. It also features signal tracking and memory retention after power loss. It is suitable for long-term displacement detection of measured components while ensuring stable and reliable performance. Ideal for measuring and controlling the lifting height of various gates (including flat gates, radial gates, miter gates, gantry cranes, and bridge cranes), it is an excellent sensor for displacement measurement and control in rivers, lakes, reservoirs, locks, hydropower stations, hydrological stations, water treatment plants, and the petrochemical industry.
