1. Our special fluoroelastomer has good oil resistance
Special fluoroelastomer's oil resistance is second only to fluorosilicone rubber and fluorocarbon rubber, and better than other rubbers, and under the influence of temperature changes, in the temperature range of -50℃ to -150℃, it has good oil resistance.
Special fluoroelastomer's solubility parameters, homopolymer is 9.15, copolymer is 9.05, with high performance retention in mineral oil.
2. Special fluoroelastomer rubber ring has good heat resistance
Excellent special fluoroelastomer's heat aging resistance is second only to fluorocarbon rubber, fluorosilicone rubber, acrylate rubber. Its pyrolysis temperature is 180℃ under anaerobic conditions, close to 180℃ under aerobic conditions, in hot air for 1000 hours, the upper limit temperature for continuous use, homopolymer is 180℃, copolymer is 235℃. The heat aging characteristic of special fluoroelastomer rubber is that it does not harden and remains soft for a long time.
3. Special fluoroelastomer seals have excellent cold resistance and Freon resistance
The brittle temperature of homopolymer is -25℃, binary copolymer is -40℃, ternary copolymer is -50℃. The outstanding feature of special fluoroelastomer is that it can maintain rubber flexibility at brittle temperature, its low-temperature performance is worse than fluorosilicone rubber, but better than polyurethane rubber, natural rubber, NBR rubber. Especially valuable is the balance of oil resistance and cold resistance of special rubber, which is incomparable to BUNA rubber and polyacrylate rubber.
Our FPM-324 rubber has extremely low permeability to fluorine-based refrigerants such as Freon R12 and R22, and has been certified by the American Society of Engineers for 12 refrigerants, among which fluoro homopolymer is resistant to R22.
4. Special fluoroelastomer parts have good weather and ozone resistance
Because Teflon rubber is a polyether-type saturated rubber with no double bonds, it has excellent ozone resistance, better than neoprene, better than nitrile rubber mixed EPDM, and similar to EPDM and acrylate rubber.
5. Special fluoroelastomer elastomer's air tightness and shock absorption
Teflon rubber's gas permeability resistance is the best among known rubber types, 4 times that of butyl rubber.
Teflon rubber has excellent shock absorption performance over a wide temperature range, with high resilience second only to natural rubber, its dynamic performance is close to natural rubber, and the change value affected by temperature is less than natural rubber.
In addition, Teflon rubber has good adhesion, flame resistance, and certain resistance to acid and alkali corrosion and water resistance.
