US Dow Corning® Z-6040 Coupling Agent: CAS: 2530-83-8 Glycidoxytrimethoxy Silane Coupling Agent/Glass Paint Adhesion Promoter/Adhesion Enhancer, 100% active ingredient, Zero VOC, Heavy Metal-Free, suitable for epoxy resin, alkyd, phenolic resin, acrylic resin, nylon, etc., used as an adhesion promoter for glass coatings (inks), metal paints, adhesives, etc. The product has good hydrolysis stability and can be directly added to the resin system, effectively improving the flexibility of the paint film, enhancing adhesion, boiling water resistance, alcohol resistance, salt spray resistance, and corrosion resistance on glass, ceramic, and metal substrates (stainless steel, aluminum alloy, zinc alloy), with non-yellowing properties and high transparency. Can be used in air-dry and low-temperature baking glass and metal coatings/inks. Enhances adhesion of water-based glass paint/ink, water-based metal paint (stainless steel, aluminum alloy), water-based glass paint adhesion promoter, improves water and salt spray resistance.

Used in mirror silver ink, added directly during production to enhance adhesion and water resistance without yellowing.

Used as a surface treatment agent/bonding agent for glass, metal, and ceramics, replacing phosphating treatment, environmentally friendly: dilute with solvent (alcohols/ethers/esters/benzenes) to 1-5% solid content, apply to the above substrates, bake or air-dry, effectively enhancing adhesion.
