Ultramarine

Ultramarine pigment is one of the oldest and most vibrant blue pigments, non-toxic, environmentally friendly, and falls under the category of inorganic pigments.

Ultramarine (English name: Ultramarine) is a blue inorganic pigment used for coloring, providing a beautiful and vivid blue. It is also used for whitening to eliminate yellow light in white coatings or other white pigments. Ultramarine is insoluble in water, resistant to alkali, and high temperatures. It is extremely stable against sunlight and weathering in the atmosphere but is not acid-resistant, decomposing and discoloring when exposed to acid.

The applications of ultramarine products are extremely wide. In terms of coloring, it is used in blue paints, coatings, rubber, inks, oilcloth, colored paintings, and for painting the exterior walls of buildings with blue paint.

In terms of whitening, ultramarine is used in papermaking, soap, laundry detergent, starch, white products, and residential wall painting.
