Thermal Power Company's Bag Filter Renovation for Coal-Fired Boilers

      Retrofit of Bag Filter for 75-ton Coal-fired Boiler at Thermal Power Company

     The dust removal equipment used by thermal power companies is generally the bag filter for coal-fired boilers. The reason for retrofitting the bag filter is that the original dust removal equipment, after years of use, has very low dust removal efficiency. To improve dust removal effectiveness and reduce pollutant emissions, the thermal power company needs to retrofit the original dust removal equipment.

      Our company has numerous cases of bag filter retrofit projects for coal-fired boilers nationwide. For example, our company undertook the retrofit project for a 75-ton coal-fired boiler bag filter at a thermal power company in Jilin. The flue gas volume at the dust collector inlet is 168,000 m³/h,the flue gas temperature at the dust collector inlet is ≤145°C,the dust concentration at the dust collector inlet is 50g/Nm³, and the dust concentration at the outlet is ≤50mg/Nm³.Annual operating hours: 6,000 hours.

      After on-site investigation,the retrofit plan for the 75-ton coal-fired boiler bag filteradopts the XLDM type with online and offline two-state cleaning function, designed with offline maintenance capability. This offline cleaning low-pressure pulse bag filteris structurally designed and arranged as follows: single inlet and single row configured with a total of 8 chambers, each chamber designed with 120 filter bags. Each dust collector has a total of 8 × 120 = 960 filter bags, with a total filtration area of 2,900 m² per unit;

      The boiler pulse bagdust collector adopts a bottom inlet and external filtration method.The filter bags used are of the standard specification Φ160×6000mm, made of PPS polyester needle-punched felt filter material, with waterproof and oil-proof chemical treatment.The dust collector is equipped with an insulation layer and a top rain shield to prevent condensation under environmental conditions and protect the top装置 of the dust collector.
