The SCR denitrification equipment used in carbon plant baking furnaces is a technology primarily designed to reduce nitrogen oxide (NOx) emissions in facilities such as industrial boilers at carbon plants. The design of the SCR denitrification system mainly includes: flue gas system, SCR reactor, SCR catalyst, reducing agent supply, soot blowing, and control system.
Shiheng Carbon Plant Baking Furnace SCR denitrification system utilizes the reducing agent urea, which undergoes thermal decomposition and hydrolysis into ammonia gas (NH3) in the exhaust pipeline. NH3 reacts with NOx under the action of the SCR denitrification catalyst to produce non-toxic nitrogen gas (N2) and water. The baking furnace SCR device is generally installed between the outlet of the boiler economizer and the inlet of the air preheater, with a reaction temperature typically between 300°C and 400°C. In the flue gas of the boiler, NO2 generally accounts for about 5% of the total NOx concentration. The reactions involving NO2 are as follows:
2NO2 + 4NH3 + O2 → 3N2 + 6H2O
6NO2 + 8NH3 → 7N2 + 12H2O
