II. ExxonMobil Mineral Extraction SolventEscaid 110
Escaid 110 hydrocarbon solvent is used as a diluent in solvent extraction of minerals including copper, nickel, cobalt, uranium, and zinc. Formulators can utilize different products to create specialized extraction solutions.
Compared to aromatic-containing kerosene grades, dearomatized Escaid solvents offer the following advantages:
High purity and product consistency.
Narrower distribution band.
Reduced diluent loss.
Enhanced safety under high-temperature conditions.
Lower environmental toxicity and high biodegradability.
III. ExxonMobilEscaid 110Drilling Fluid Oil/Metal Mineral Extraction Solvent
ExxonMobil has been committed to the exploration and production of oil and gas for over a century, accumulating unparalleled experience. We combine expertise in drilling and production technology with environmental protection to develop specialized Escaid™ hydrocarbon solvents for drilling fluid oils used in the most challenging drilling conditions, while meeting safety, health, and environmental requirements.
Each Escaid solvent grade has distinct characteristics suitable for various specific requirements:
Escaid 110 Solvent-- A solvent with extremely low viscosity (approximately1.7 cSt at 40°C / 104°F), ideal for drilling fluids in deep water and extended drilling applications.
Escaid 115 Solvent-- A solvent with low viscosity (approximately2.1 cSt at 40°C / 104°F) and high flash point, particularly suitable for high-temperature drilling conditions.
Escaid 120 Solvent-- Offers the advantage of a higher flash point(approximately100°C / 212°F), low evaporation loss, and viscosity suitable for various environments.
Escaid 120 Ultra-Low Aromatic Solvent-- Offers the same advantages as Escaid 120 but with even lower aromatic content.
Additionally: Exxsol™D 80 and Isopar M can also be used as drilling fluid (drilling mud) oils.
Additionally: Exxsol™D 80 and Isopar M can also be used as diluents in mining operations.
