Product Description:

The Longsung A8901 is a dual-band GSM/GPRS module designed for use in any GSM network worldwide, operating at 900/1800MHz. The A8901 features GPRS multi-slot class 10 and supports GPRS coding schemes CS-1, CS-2, CS-3, and CS-4.

Additionally, the A8901 module supports GNSS functionality. Its global navigation satellite system can support 56 channels, with a tracking navigation sensitivity of -164 dBm, a cold start time to first fix of <35s, and a hot start time of less than 1s.

To save space on the application platform, the A8901 adopts an extremely slim and compact module design. This makes it highly suitable for a wide range of mobile computing devices, particularly offering easy integration with trackers, POS systems, and other M2M applications.
