ESD Certification Process

1. Fully Understand the Standards

Thoroughly comprehend the requirements of the S20.20 standard, especially those related to management and technical aspects, guiding principles, and relevant technical requirements.

2. Establish an ESD Control Plan

Organize an ESD team, appoint an ESD supervisor or ESD coordinator, or form a team. Designate the ESD supervisor or ESD coordinator. Based on the highest sensitivity level of ESD in the enterprise, develop a scientific, reasonable, feasible, and practical ESD control plan, including various documents such as the ESD control plan and procedural documents.

3. Implement the ESD Control Plan

Implement according to the requirements of the ESD control plan.

4. ESD Assessment and Pre-audit

Once the ESD control plan is implemented, you may consider inviting ESD consulting experts to conduct a pre-assessment and pre-audit of the company's ESD facilities. The purpose is to identify non-conformities with the standards and take appropriate corrective measures before undergoing the formal certification audit, ensuring a smooth certification process.

5. Select an ESD Certification Body -> Apply

When the company's ESD program has been successfully implemented and assessed, you can choose a certification body to apply for formal certification.
