Since timing belts transmit power through engagement, they do not require high installation tension like friction-driven belts. However, excessive belt tension can lead to reduced lifespan and noise, while insufficient tension may cause tooth skipping. Use the BT650 Sonic Belt Tension Meter to accurately adjust timing belt tension for 100% performance. Detection Principle: By tapping the belt to induce vibration, the sensor detects the frequency of sound wave vibrations. The microcomputer processes analog signals to measure vibration waveforms under different conditions, read waveform periods, and convert them into tension values through frequency processing.
