MES is a zwitterionic buffer commonly used in biological and biochemical research. In order to help scientists better understand the characteristics of MES and its applicability to different biotechnology applications (cell culture, chromatography, etc.). Common uses of MES buffer 1. Suitable for cation exchange chromatography and hydroxyapatite chromatography; 2. The peptide skeleton interaction between MES and bovine serum albumin leads to the net stability of protein 11; 3. MES does not form free radical substances, so it is suitable for redox research; 4.
