Our intumescent phosphorus-nitrogen flame retardant offers superior fire safety through a unique char-forming mechanism. Upon exposure to heat, it rapidly expands to form a thick, thermally insulating carbonaceous char layer that shields the underlying material, reducing heat transfer and suppressing flame spread.

Halogen-free and environmentally friendly, this high-performance additive is ideal for polyolefins (PP, PE), engineering plastics, and coatings. It delivers excellent flame retardancy (achieving UL94 V-0, V-1 and high GWIT ratings) with low smoke density and no toxic halogenated gases.

The integrated phosphorus-nitrogen structure ensures efficient gas and condensed phase action, enabling lower loading levels and better mechanical property retention. It also exhibits good processing stability and colorability.
