Main Uses
Chemical Synthesis:
As a reducing agent, used for the preparation of azo compounds and pyrazole heterocyclic compounds (such as pharmaceutical intermediates);
In the electroplating industry, used for cyanide-free electroplating of metals (such as nickel, copper), providing a reducing environment.
Analytical Testing:
In quantitative analysis, used as a reducing agent to determine aldehydes, ketones, nitro compounds, etc.;
