　　Industrial Field:

　　Glass Manufacturing: It is the main raw material for flat glass and glass bottles (accounting for about 50% of the total soda ash usage), and its function is to lower the melting point of glass.

　　Chemical Production: Used to prepare chemical products such as caustic soda (NaOH), baking soda (\(NaHCO_3\)), and sodium salts.

　　Metallurgy and Mineral Processing: Used as a flux to remove impurities from metal ores, or for metal surface treatment (such as degreasing and rust removal).

　　Papermaking and Textiles: Used to adjust the pH of pulp in papermaking; used in the scouring of cotton and linen fabrics in the textile industry (removing impurities and softening fibers).

　　Daily Life:

　　Detergents: Utilizing its alkalinity to remove oil and grease (e.g., as an ingredient in dishwashing detergents and laundry powder).

　　Food Processing: Used as an acidity regulator and leavening agent in the production of pastries and noodles (e.g., neutralizing acid produced during fermentation to make the texture softer); must meet food-grade standards (purity ≥ 99.2%).

　　Other Uses: Used in water treatment to adjust pH and soften hard water (removing calcium and magnesium ions). Used in laboratories as a primary standard (for standardizing the concentration of acid solutions) or as an alkaline reagent.
