Shanghai Hongcai Plastic Co., Ltd. is a synthetic resin raw material processing enterprise jointly established in September 1995 by (China) "Shanghai Zijiang (Group) Co., Ltd." and (Japan) "Daikane Resin Co., Ltd.", "Japan Coloring Materials Co., Ltd.", and "Itochu Corporation". The headquarters and main plant are located in the "Maqiao Industrial Park" adjacent to the Shanghai Minhang Economic and Technological Development Zone, covering an area of 33,000 square meters with a total investment of 1.2 billion Japanese yen. Production and sales began in August 1996. The company specializes in the coloring and modification processing of various synthetic resins, primarily ABS. Since 1998, the annual processing capacity has reached 14,000 tons, with an average annual sales revenue exceeding 100 million RMB. 70% of the products are directly exported to Japan, Hong Kong, Malaysia, Indonesia, and other countries and regions.
