STORAGE
98% solid PTSA is hydroscopic. After the original PTSA factory package is opened, the package must be carefully sealed again to avoid PTSA absorbing moisture and causing weighing error for later use.
10% solution is stored in a dark container with light shielding and ventilation.

SHELF LIFE: Three Years

APPLICATION
PTSA can be used in cooling tower, no matter their size or design,
as fluorescent tracing dye indicating water treatment chemical concentration.
Fluorescent-traced cooling water treatment product can be formed by blending 10% PTSA solution into existing products directly.
A fiber drum (25KG) containing 1,3,6,8-Pyrenetetrasulfonic Acid, Tertrasodium Salt (PTSA), CAS# 59572-10-0. It is recommended to blend FDX-98 dye with water treatment formulation in 1:1,000 weight ratio. The concentration should be controlled at 50-200ppb in recirculation systems for the best monitoring performance.
