Background Overview
With the increasingly severe air pollution in our country in recent years, and the proportion of pollutants becoming heavier, the task of air pollution detection and control in China is also becoming more arduous. The state has deployed and improved particulate matter and gas detection equipment in most cities, forming a dense ground pollution source detection network combining national control points and provincial control points.
However, we can also clearly see that there is still a large gap between the predictions made based on ground detection data from national control points and the development of actual environmental pollution conditions. In addition, the control measures implemented based on ground monitoring data, such as ground sprinkling, construction site covering, traffic restrictions, industrial production limits, boiler transformation, desulfurization and denitrification treatment, etc., have not produced satisfactory results.
As the third-generation remote sensing technology following aviation and aerospace remote sensing, drone remote sensing technology has the advantages of three-dimensional monitoring, fast response, wide monitoring range, and small terrain interference. It is one of the important development directions for identifying pollution sources and monitoring concentrations during future atmospheric emergencies.
However, due to the limited payload of drones, completing high-precision atmospheric environmental monitoring work requires high-precision sensor payloads, and there are few traditional sensors to choose from due to limitations in volume, weight, etc. Therefore, our company has researched and developed small, lightweight sensor payloads suitable for drone mounting to realize drone air pollution monitoring and drone fixed pollutant monitoring.

The software of the ground receiving system is specially designed dedicated software for receiving, decoding, displaying, processing, and reporting the above-mentioned monitoring and detection data. It is two separate and relatively independent software from the flight control software. When the drone flies normally with our company's gas detection equipment, it can detect concentration values in real time and transmit them back to the ground software for data analysis and display. It also supports multi-detector synchronous data return and processing functions.
The data analysis software platform mainly includes functions such as real-time data display, checking whether the detection environment data status is normal, alarm value points, real-time data value change trends, and historical data query and export, which are synchronized in the ground receiving system.

The software platform can display corresponding detection data and change trends in real time, integrating air quality gas sensor data and toxic gas emergency monitoring data into a unified platform for unified management and comprehensive display. Gas sensor data use different colors to represent different pollution levels.

Perform simple statistical analysis on historical monitoring data of various points, such as daily variation analysis, time series analysis, etc., helping the purchaser save manual analysis time costs, and also helping the purchaser understand the basic pollution status.

Through the flight task function, the Besi Cloud monitoring platform can specifically display the flight route and real-time concentration display during the flight. It displays through real-time data, pollution concentration levels, etc., and is also compatible with gimbal synchronous display; realizing synchronous display of data and video.
1 System Structure and Working Principle
This system mainly consists of unmanned aerial vehicles, Besian BSA/QT-UAV gas detectors, data transmission/GPRS, ground stations/servers, and data processing software. It is mainly used to detect atmospheric air quality AQI and emergency detection of toxic and harmful gases, with an accuracy of up to 1PPB. It has changed the traditional fixed-point detection, making gas detection flexible, fast, accurate, and convenient.
2 Software Implementation of Gas Concentration Data Acquisition
There are tens of thousands of gas types, ranges, accuracies, etc. in gas detection. Our company has designed a set of smart sensor series sensors to simplify user operation and cost. It has a complete set of software information systems, effectively dividing all detectable gas types to realize a fully intelligent recognition system.
