Properties

Solubility: This substance is insoluble in water, but soluble in various organic solvents such as hydrocarbons, aromatics and alcohols.

Stability: Sensitive to heat and moisture, slowly hydrolyzes when in contact with water, and is prone to condensation when affected by moisture. It is flammable, toxic and non-corrosive.

Reactivity: As an external electron donor, it improves the activity, stereospecificity and service life of propylene polymerization catalysts.

1. Propylene polymerization catalyst: Co-catalyst used for synthesizing high-performance polymers such as syndiotactic polypropylene.

2. Coating additive: Significantly improves the weather resistance and anti-adhesion property of coatings.

3. Surfactant: Has excellent wetting, dispersing and emulsifying properties.

4. Organic synthesis: As a synthetic intermediate for functional materials, it is used in organic synthesis reactions.
