Compact busway

Bus duct is a closed power transmission device. Its core is composed of high-purity (≥99.95%) electrolytic copper or aluminum conductors. The surface of the conductors is tinned or silver-plated to enhance electrical conductivity. It is wrapped with insulating materials such as cross-linked polyethylene on the outside, and adopts a "sandwich" laminated structure as a whole, so that the phases are arranged without gaps. The shell is usually made of aluminum-magnesium alloy or steel plate, which has both protection and heat dissipation functions. Its structure mainly includes:

‌Conductor‌: The core component that carries current, and its cross-sectional area can be adjusted to meet different current requirements.
‌Insulating layer‌: Prevents short circuits and ensures operational safety, and is resistant to high temperature and high humidity.
‌Shell‌: Has high mechanical strength and excellent heat dissipation performance. Some designs are equipped with serrated heat sinks to improve heat dissipation efficiency.

‌Efficient transmission‌: Low-impedance design reduces energy loss and voltage drop, making it suitable for large-current (100~6300A) transmission.
‌Space-saving‌: The compact structure occupies small space, making it suitable for installation in narrow places. The length of the horizontal section is usually ≤3 meters.
‌Safe and reliable‌: The shell also serves as the PE wire, with good protection circuit continuity; the flame-retardant insulating material reduces fire risks.
‌Strong dynamic stability‌: Resists electrodynamic impact and reduces magnetic oscillation noise, but dense arrangement may lead to relatively high temperature rise.
