Other Products
Dispersant specifically for nanomaterials is a nonionic polymer copolymer containing special affinity groups. It has excellent dispersion effects on nanoscale or submicron powders, enabling sufficient dispersion force for nanoparticles. Nanomaterial particles are small in size, large in specific surface area, and high in surface energy, so they tend to form soft agglomerates. Only through sufficient dispersion can their unique nanoscale properties be exerted.
Specifications and Models
Product Features
The dispersant specifically for nanomaterials is mainly designed for the wetting and dispersion of nanoscale or submicron materials. It has excellent dispersion performance for nanomaterials in aqueous or solvent-based systems, which can sufficiently disperse nanoparticles, thereby preventing inter-particle agglomeration and improving storage stability. It is suitable for dispersing nano-oxides, nano-pigments, nano-metal powders, etc.
It can prepare nanomaterial dispersions with high solid content and low viscosity;
It prevents the re-agglomeration of dispersed nanoparticles and improves the storage stability of nanodispersions;
The prepared nanodispersions have concentrated particle size distribution;
It is APEO-free, zero-VOC, and an environmentally friendly product;
It reduces dispersion time and improves dispersion efficiency.
Recommended Dosage
The dosage of the additive is based on the pigment:
Nanomaterials: 15-20%
Inorganic pigments: 5-10%
Titanium dioxide: 1-5%
Organic pigments: 20-40%
Carbon black: 10-75%
The above recommended additions are for reference only. The actual addition amount needs to be determined through a series of tests.
Addition Method and Processing Guidelines
Nanodispersion additives should usually be added to the millbase, so that the additives can fully function.
When used for resin-free grinding, premix the solvent components in the millbase with the additive under stirring, then add the pigment.
When used for resin-containing grinding, uniformly mix the binder, solvent, and additive before adding the pigment.
