I. Introduction
The water seal gate valve can be driven manually, by worm gear, pneumatically or electrically; connected by flange or welding; structured as straight-through type; sealed with soft or hard seal; with pressure range PN0.1-10Mpa, nominal diameter DN15-600mm, and available materials including cast iron, cast steel and stainless steel.

III. Applications of Water Seal Gate Valves:
Water seal gate valves are suitable for condensate return systems of thermal power plants with nominal pressure PN2.5～4.0Mpa and working temperature 0～425℃, as well as pipelines in petroleum and chemical industries that require isolation from the atmosphere. They are used to cut off or connect the medium, which includes water, oil products, steam and non-corrosive gases.
IV. Structural Features of Water Seal Gate Valves:
1. The water seal gate valve is designed and manufactured in accordance with national standard GB12235, featuring novel structure, reasonable material selection and beautiful appearance. The connection ends are available in flange and welding types, which can be matched according to different user requirements.
2. The packing gland is designed as a water sealing structure. When filled with water at 0.6~1.6Mpa, it has low friction, good sealing performance, and can isolate the entire system from the atmosphere to ensure excellent air tightness.
3. The valve stem undergoes quenching and tempering and surface nitriding treatment, providing good corrosion resistance and scratch resistance.
4. It has compact structure, flexible operation, convenient maintenance and long service life.
5. The back seal is made of stainless steel threaded sealing seat or surfacing austenitic stainless steel on the main body, ensuring reliable back sealing. The packing replacement and maintenance can be carried out without stopping the equipment, which is convenient and fast without affecting the system operation.
