I. Introduction:
The J41H forged steel gate valve has three bonnet design types. The first is the bolted bonnet type. For valves of this design, the valve body and bonnet are connected by bolts and nuts, and sealed by a spiral wound gasket. A metal ring connection can also be adopted if the customer has special requirements. The second design type is the welded bonnet type. For valves of this design, the valve body and bonnet are threaded and fully welded for sealing. A full weld connection can also be adopted if the customer has special requirements. The third type is the pressure self-sealing bonnet. For valves of this design, the valve body and bonnet are threaded and sealed by an internal pressure self-sealing ring.

11. Bolted bonnet with spiral wound gasket, threaded seal, welded bonnet, or self-sealing bonnet.
