I. Introduction:
The opening and closing part of the Z41F46 fluorine-lined gate valve is the gate plate. The movement direction of the gate plate is perpendicular to the fluid direction. The gate valve can only be fully opened or fully closed, and cannot be used for regulation and throttling. The gate plate has two sealing surfaces. The two sealing surfaces of the most common wedge gate valve form a wedge shape, and the wedge angle varies with valve parameters, usually 50°, and is 2°52' when the medium temperature is not high. The gate plate of a wedge gate valve can be made as a whole, called a rigid gate plate; it can also be made as a gate plate that can produce slight deformation, to improve its processability , and to make up for the deviation of the sealing surface angle generated during the processing , this type of gate plate is called an elastic gate plate.
II. Structural Features:
1. The parts directly contacting the medium, such as the inner cavity of the valve body and valve cover, and the outer surfaces of the gate plate and valve stem, are all lined with fluoroplastics such as FEP (F46);
2. The sealing pair is composed of FPF (F46)/FEP (F46) or other material combinations, with small friction coefficient and low opening/closing torque;
3. The packing adopts PTFE (F4) standard packing, which has good sealing performance and is convenient for maintenance and replacement;
4. The elastic gate plate can compensate for the wedge angle deviation between the sealing surface of the gate plate and the sealing surface of the valve seat, resulting in good fit and ideal sealing effect;
5. The medium can pass through the gate valve from either side, making it suitable for use as an opening/closing device on pipelines where the medium direction may change.
