I. Introduction:
       The J65HY type stop valve has a valve stem and passage forming a certain angle, and its seat sealing surface also forms a certain angle with the inlet and outlet passages. The stop valve causes almost no change in the flow direction of the fluid, making it the type of stop valve with the smallest flow resistance. It is widely used in industries such as petrochemical, metallurgy, chemical, power station, and pharmaceutical. The flow passage of the Y-type stop valve's valve body forms an oblique line with the main flow passage, so the degree of disruption to the flow state is smaller than that of conventional stop valves, and thus the pressure loss through the valve is correspondingly reduced. II. Working Principle:
The J65HY type stop valve is one of the most widely used valves. It is widely popular because the friction between the sealing surfaces during the opening and closing process is small, it is relatively durable, has a small opening height, is easy to manufacture, and convenient to maintain. It is applicable not only to medium and low pressure but also to high pressure. Its closing principle is that, relying on the pressure of the valve rod, the sealing surface of the disc closely fits with the sealing surface of the valve seat to prevent the medium from flowing. The stop valve only allows the medium to flow in one direction, so it has directionality during installation. The structural length of the stop valve is longer than that of the gate valve, and at the same time, its fluid resistance is large, and its sealing reliability is not strong during long-term operation.
