I. Introduction:
The CS45H inverted bucket steam trap with bell-shaped float operates on the principle of the density difference between condensate and other media. Its internal structure features a lever system connected to an inverted bucket. The inverted bucket, which is the liquid level sensing element with its opening facing downward, overcomes steam pressure to switch the trap’s operation. When the device starts up, air and low-temperature condensate appear in the pipeline, and the trap is fully open, quickly discharging air and low-temperature condensate to raise the system temperature rapidly. When steam enters the inverted bucket, it generates upward buoyancy; the inverted bucket, connected to the lever, drives the valve core to close the valve. When the inverted bucket loses buoyancy, it sinks downward, and the lever connected to it drives the valve core to open the valve. When steam enters the inverted bucket again, the valve closes, forming a cyclic operation with intermittent drainage.
II. Features and Performance:
1. It has strong adaptability to the amount of condensate generated, enabling both intermittent and continuous drainage.
2. The unparalleled SCCV closing system, with a unique design, compensates for errors caused by lever mechanism, avoids rigid collisions during closing, ensuring reliable sealing and long service life.
3. All internal parts are made of stainless steel and installed on the valve cover, making maintenance extremely convenient.
4. High back pressure rate (90%).
5. Reliable steam-water separation (steam and water enter from the lower part of the valve through a U-shaped channel), the valve is always in a water-sealed state, effectively preventing steam leakage.
6. The open-type float resists water hammer. The inverted bucket is equipped with an overflow vent, which can effectively prevent steam lock and air blockage (non-condensable high-temperature air can also be discharged).
III. Product Applications:
Bell-shaped float (inverted bucket) steam traps are used for steam mains, steam separators, heat exchangers, vulcanizers, hot-air dryers, cylinder dryers, distillers, concentration equipment, hospital sterilizers, etc. The ultra-compact and lightweight ES5 type is most suitable for air conditioners, washing machines, dyeing machines, etc. The all-stainless steel ESU5 type is specially manufactured for food industry and hospital steam-using equipment.
