I. Introduction:
UFS-type steam-water separators are used in steam, compressed air and other gas systems to remove moisture contained in steam, air or gas systems. The water droplets separated by the steam-water separator gather along the inclined pipe wall and are discharged through a dedicated drain. Therefore, the steam-water separator ensures the dryness of the steam used by the equipment, which is particularly important for improving equipment productivity and product quality, and can extend the service life of the equipment and its control valves. This product is a baffle-type separator used to separate liquid droplets contained in steam, compressed air and gas systems. It has trapezoidal baffles inside the valve, with high separation efficiency. Equipped with an insulation jacket, it can improve the working performance of the separator. This separator is installed on a horizontal pipeline with its drain facing downward. To ensure that the separated liquid is discharged as quickly as possible, the drain port should be connected to a suitable drain valve or steam trap.
II. Main Performance Features:
1. It can automatically adjust the steam intake according to changes in steam pressure and water pressure, overcoming defects such as vibration and noise.
2. While utilizing steam for heating, it can achieve pressure boosting, greatly reducing the power of the water pump motor and achieving the purpose of energy saving.
3. Energy-saving and high thermal efficiency. Steam can be fully utilized. Compared with traditional heat exchange systems, the thermal efficiency reaches 100%, saving more than 20% of steam.
4. Long service life, maintenance-free, with a service life of up to 15 years.
5. No on-duty personnel required, saving labor costs. It is widely applicable to heating and hot water supply systems for residential buildings, commercial office buildings, hotels, hospitals, bath centers, as well as industries such as electric power, chemical industry, rubber, food, and pharmaceuticals.
III. Installation Precautions
1. Before installation, impurities in the pipeline must be completely removed.
2. This separator should be installed at a lower position in the steam pipeline.
3. Installation direction: The arrow on the valve body should point in the same direction as the fluid in the pipeline.
4. A steam trap should be installed at the lower part of the UFS steam-water separator. The steam trap should be selected with an appropriate caliber according to the discharge capacity and working conditions.
5. No on-duty personnel required, saving labor costs. It is widely applicable to heating and hot water supply systems for residential buildings, commercial office buildings, hotels, hospitals, bath centers, as well as industries such as electric power, chemical industry, rubber, food, and pharmaceuticals.
