I. Product Overview:
The HG5-89-2 bottom-discharging discharge valve is equipped with a scouring-resistant and corrosion-resistant sealing ring inside its valve body. When the valve is opened, it protects the valve body from scouring and corrosion by the medium. The sealing ring undergoes special treatment to achieve a surface hardness of HRC56-62, giving it high wear resistance and corrosion resistance. The sealing surface of the valve disc is surfaced with hard alloy as required, and the sealing pair adopts line sealing to ensure sealing reliability and prevent scaling. Meanwhile, a short-stroke valve disc design is adopted.
II. Product Features:
According to actual needs, the bottom structure of the discharge valve is designed as a flat bottom, and the valve body is V-shaped. It provides two working modes of valve disc: lifting and lowering. The valve body is equipped with a scouring-resistant and corrosion-resistant sealing ring, which protects the valve body from scouring and corrosion by the medium when the valve is opened. The sealing ring is specially treated to reach a surface hardness of HRC56-62, featuring high wear resistance and corrosion resistance. The sealing surface of the valve disc is surfaced with hard alloy as required, and the sealing pair adopts line sealing to ensure sealing reliability and prevent scaling. Meanwhile, a short-stroke valve disc design is adopted. It is widely used in industries such as chemical, petroleum, metallurgy, pharmaceutical, pesticide, dye, and food processing.
III. Working Principle:
Different opening and closing strokes lead to different installation sizes. The top-opening and bottom-opening discharge valves have small opening and closing strokes and low installation height. The rotating rod structure has the smallest installation height. During the opening and closing process, the plunger only rotates. The opening and closing status and position of the valve are judged by the opening and closing position indicator.

V. Precautions:
1. The valve shall be stored as a whole in a ventilated and dry warehouse. It is strictly prohibited to stack or store it outdoors, and both ends of the valve's passage shall be blocked with plates.
2. Before installation, carefully inspect the valve and remove any damage caused during transportation or storage.
3. Before installation, check whether the force on each screw is balanced and whether the lifting (movement) is flexible.
4. The valve shall be installed in a place without severe vibration or impact, and in a site where the valve will not be damaged.
5. When the discharge is blocked, it can be cleared with a metal rod or rigid tool. Be careful not to damage the contact surface between the valve disc and the sealing ring when using such tools.
6. Avoid alternating use of acidic and alkaline media as much as possible (except for neutralization reaction media), so as not to shorten the service life.
7. According to the medium performance and service life, regularly inspect the PTFE sealing ring at the top of the valve body and the PTFE sheet at the orifice. If damage is found, replace it in time before further use.
8. If damage is found on the valve surface, stop using it immediately. It can be repaired with special materials, or entrusted to a relevant manufacturer for production.
