I. Introduction:
The turbine flange ball valve is an important type of valve, which is widely used in fields such as petrochemical industry and long-distance pipelines. The closing part of the ball valve is a sphere (or partial sphere) with a hole. The sphere rotates along with the valve stem to realize the opening or closing of the valve. Among various types of valves, the ball valve has the smallest flow resistance. When the full-bore ball valve is open, the channel of the sphere, the channel of the valve body and the connecting pipe diameter are equal and form a straight diameter, so the medium can flow through almost without loss. The ball valve only needs to rotate 90 degrees to fully open or close, with quick opening and closing. Compared with gate valves and globe valves of the same specifications, the ball valve has a smaller volume and lighter weight, making it convenient for pipeline installation. By adopting a new type of sealing material for the valve seat, the service life of the ball valve with polytetrafluoroethylene (PTFE) as the seal (used in similar products) is increased by 3 to 5 times. It has the advantages of stable performance, reliable sealing, small friction, light opening and closing, high temperature resistance, wear resistance, oil resistance, corrosion resistance and long service life. The high-temperature ball valve has the same structural length as the globe valve, plunger valve and blowdown valve, which expands the application scope of the ball valve. It is widely used in industries such as petroleum, chemical, rubber, paper making and pharmaceutical, and can replace globe valves, plunger valves and quick blowdown valves. Applicable media: water, steam, heat transfer oil and other acids. Operating temperature: ≤300℃
