I. Introduction:
The BQ45F three-way insulated ball valve has excellent insulation and cold preservation properties. Its inner diameter matches the pipe diameter, effectively reducing heat loss of the medium in the pipeline. It is mainly used in various systems such as petroleum, chemical, metallurgical, pharmaceutical, and food industries to transport high-viscosity media that solidify at room temperature. As a relatively new type of ball valve, it has unique structural advantages, such as no friction during opening and closing, wear-resistant sealing, and small opening/closing torque, which can reduce the specification of the matched actuator. Equipped with a multi-turn electric actuator, it can regulate the medium and achieve tight shut-off. It is widely applicable to working conditions requiring strict shut-off, such as petroleum, chemical, and urban water supply and drainage.
II. Advantages:
1. Small fluid resistance, with a resistance coefficient equal to that of a pipe section of the same length.
2. Simple structure, small volume, and light weight.
3. Compact and reliable with good sealing performance, and it has been widely used in vacuum systems.
4. Easy to operate, with quick opening and closing—only a 90° rotation is needed from fully open to fully closed, facilitating remote control.
5. Easy to maintain: the ball valve has a simple structure, and the sealing ring is generally movable, making disassembly and replacement convenient.
6. When fully open or fully closed, the sealing surfaces of the ball and valve seat are isolated from the medium, so the medium will not cause erosion to the valve sealing surfaces when passing through.
7. Wide application range: the inner diameter ranges from several millimeters to several meters, and it can be used from high vacuum to high pressure.
8. High-platform ball valves are classified into straight-through, three-way, and right-angle types according to their channel positions. The latter two types of ball valves are used for distributing media and changing the flow direction of media.
III. Notes for Storage, Installation and Use:
1. During storage, seal all external passages with plugs or covers, and store in a dry, ventilated indoor space. For long-term storage, conduct regular inspections to remove dirt, and apply anti-rust oil to the machined surfaces to prevent rust and corrosion.
2. Before installation, clean the valve thoroughly and tighten all threaded connections.
3. Adopting the check valve principle, it can only be cut off in one direction. During installation, pay attention to the valve marking and use the end to be protected as the valve inlet.
4. When placing an order, specify the flange sealing surface type, pressure class, and connection standard.
