I. Introduction:
The X41F American Standard plug valve is suitable for pipelines in industries such as petroleum, chemical, pharmaceutical, fertilizer, and power generation, operating under nominal pressure of CLASS 150-900 LBS and working temperature ranging from -29℃ to 180℃, to cut off or connect pipeline media. Installing a balance valve can control the total water volume of the system within a reasonable range, thus overcoming the unreasonable operating condition of "large flow, small temperature difference". It can also effectively solve the problem of uneven room temperature in heating systems. The plug valve has a simple structure, making it easy to maintain and clean. For example, in a locking-type conical plug valve, you can remove the plug from the valve body by unscrewing the locking nut and taking out the washer, then perform cleaning and maintenance. Valves made of austenitic stainless steel are the choice for the food and pharmaceutical industries. This can simplify the design of the piping system, reduce the number of valves used, and decrease the number of connecting fittings required in the equipment. Plug valves are widely used in oilfield exploitation, transportation, and refining equipment, and are also widely used in petrochemical, chemical, coal gas, natural gas, liquefied petroleum gas, HVAC, and general industrial fields.
II. Features:
①. The movement between sealing surfaces of the X41F American Standard plug valve has a wiping effect. When fully open, it can completely prevent the sealing surface from contacting the medium, so it can be used for media containing suspended particles.
②. The cylindrical closing member of the plug valve can achieve opening and closing by rotating 900 degrees, so this valve is very suitable for occasions requiring quick opening and closing.
③. The plug valve has a simple structure, making it easy to maintain and clean. For example, in a locking-type conical plug valve, you can remove the plug from the valve body by unscrewing the locking nut and taking out the washer, then perform cleaning and maintenance.
