I. Introduction:
The 700X pump control valve is a type of check valve installed at the pump outlet of high-rise buildings and other water supply systems to prevent medium backflow. When the pump is about to stop water supply, the valve first slowly closes by about 90% to prevent water hammer or water surge caused by sudden pump shutdown; after the pump is completely stopped, the valve fully closes to prevent the pumped water from flowing back, effectively protecting the pump and avoiding reverse rotation due to the impact of backflow. This product is an essential protection device at the pump outlet. The valve has a streamlined design, and its accurate opening and closing are realized through the control of the solenoid valve. It is safe and reliable to use, effectively preventing water hammer and water surge, with a long service life and convenient installation and maintenance.
II. Working Principle:
When the pump is working and the valve supplies water downstream, the solenoid pilot valve is fully open, and the needle valve is adjusted to an appropriate opening. The upstream water enters the main valve control chamber through the needle valve and check valve, and flows out through the solenoid pilot valve. At this time, the pressure in the main valve control chamber keeps the main valve at an appropriate opening to maintain normal downstream water supply.
When the pump stops working, the solenoid pilot valve closes first, the main valve control chamber stops draining, and the pressure in the control chamber rises, causing the main valve to start closing. When it closes to 90%, the upper travel switch of the main valve outputs a pump stop signal, and the pump stops running. At this time, the downstream backwater enters the main valve control chamber through the check valve, the pressure in the control chamber rises, and the main valve is closed.
